The
Stabil-Lime Group of Companies has a Head Office based
in Lilydale in the Yarra Valley. The Group consists
of nine companies, each with its own management structure
and accountability. The Company Managers all report
to the Head Office, which including accounts, is a
team of approximately 20 people.
Our
Head Office function includes an extensive Integrated
Management System (IMS) accredited by a third party
and maintained by our IMS co-ordinator. Our annual
IMS budget is in excess of $400,000. We are audited
on a monthly basis by regulatory authorities including
Vic Roads.
We
take great pride in the company’s management
ethic, our investment is into the long term future
and our decisions, be it road recycling or pavement
maintenance, are always based on providing long-term
value.
Stabil-Lime
commenced some 20 years ago, specialising in soil
stabilisation and road recycling. This technology
remains our core business today, however we have diversified
and attempt to provide our clients with a full-service
philosophy from within the group. As a result, we
now employ approximately 200 people, many of whom
live within the Baw Baw Shire Council area, and consist
of a group of companies which are outlined below.
The
Stabil-Lime Group of Companies has strong associations
with many industry groups such as AustStab, A.A.P.A,
C.C.F and regulatory bodies including Vic Roads and
local councils. Additionally, we have formed a strong
partnering agreement for road maintenance services
with the Baw Baw Shire Council.
Industry standards have changed enormously and we
are particularly focused on all aspects of Work Place
Safety. Our IMS system demands regular safety meetings
and today every site for road repairs has a signed
off traffic management plan in place before work commences.
Our vertically integrated operation together with
up to date equipment and quality staff allows us not
only to get the job done, but to provide our clients
with all of the statutory obligations completed precisely.
